Oiler

This can take several forms in model Steam but generally it is an in line device, fitted in the pipe from the Boiler leading to the Piston it drips a small amount of oil into the Steam feed improving lubrication.
Another type usually used on larger models drips a set amount of oil gauged in number of drips per minute onto a bearing.
